    INFRASTRUCTURE CREATION AND SUPPORT TO MAKE IN INDIA INITIATIVE

    Indian Railways has taken a giant leap forward in ‘Make in India’ drive by signing Understanding for setting up of Diesel Locomotive Factory (DLF) at Marhowra, Saran district, Bihar for procurement as well as maintenance of mainline most modern high power Diesel Electric Locomotives with M/s GE Diesel Locomotive Pvt. Ltd. Another agreement signed for setting up of electric locomotive factory at Madhepura, Bihar for procurement and maintenance of most modern high power electric locomotives important PPP and FDI tenders of Indian Railways. This could be among the highest FDI’s in India amounting to order book of almost Rs 40,000 Crore.
